BIG HERO 6 DVD combo pack

cameracameracameracamera  (4 CAMS)

After tragedy strikes his family, young prodigy Hiro Hamada (the voice of Ryan Potter) forms a bond with a large inflatable robot named Baymax (Scott Adsit) - who was created by his older brother Tadashi (Daniel Henney). When a supervillain threatens the city of San Fransokyo, Hiro and Baymax join forces with friends Go Go Tomago (Jamie Chung), Honey Lemon (Genesis Rodriguez), Wasabi (Damon Wayans Jr.) and Fred (T. J. Miller) to become high-tech heroes and save their hometown. "Big Hero 6" is a fast-paced, wildly entertaining animated Marvel Comics adventure. In the grand Disney tradition, directors Don Hall and Chris Williams have filled this family-friendly tale with action, humor and a few heartbreaking moments that elicit tears. The colorful animation is aided by 3D, but the process is not needed to enjoy this crowd-pleaser. Some notables in the voice cast are Maya Rudolph as Hiro's Aunt Cass, James Cromwell as Professor Callaghan and Alan Tudyk as tech guru Alistair Krei. Being a Marvel film, Stan Lee makes a comical cameo appearance in cartoon form. A rousing score by Henry Jackman is enhanced by a new Fall Out Boy song called "Immortals". Be sure to stick around for a hilarious sequence after the closing credits. Preceding the feature is the delightful animated short "Feast" (in 3D) - the story of the progression of a dog's meals as his master's life changes. Flying into the holiday season, "Big Hero 6" is a huge blast of super fun for young and old alike.

The Collector's Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack (including DVD and Digital HD versions), available on 2/24/15, is a collector's dream. Once again, Disney provides a magnificent transfer. The picture-perfect 1080p video and stunning sound track match the theater experience - without 3D. As expected, there are a few extras worth watching. "Big Animator 6: The Characters Behind The Characters" and "The Origin Story Of Big Hero 6: Hiro's Journey" are enjoyable behind-the-scenes featurettes. Deleted scenes, with alternate openings, provide a glimpse of what could have been. More bonuses await including last, but not least, "Feast" - the short doggie treat that'll satisfy any appetite. Both "Big Hero 6" and "Feast" have received awards nominations and are certainly among the best of 2014. Matter of fact, they took home the prize for Best Animated Feature and Best Animated Short at the Oscars on 2/22/15. This marvelous combo pack is a must-own for all family members.
